Airport & Ferry Transfer
Whether you are arriving via the airport or the ferry terminal, no need to look for a taxi when you arrive in Dominica. We can easily make these arrangements for you.
If you would like us to arrange to have a taxi waiting for you rather than trying to find one, we work with several reasonably-priced, reliable taxi services. Such taxi services are trusted and familiar with Narakiel's Inn and can therefore easily take you straight to the Inn.

Taxi Services
If you would like to explore the surrounding neighborhoods of Roseau for additional dining options, local clubs/discos, the beach etc., taking a local taxi service may be a great option for you. This may be particularly useful if such locations fall just short of walking distance or if you would like to travel in the evenings or on weekends (when local buses do not run regularly) and if you do not have a rental car.
Bear in mind that this option is best if you do not require a tour guide/ tours. This will allow you the flexibility to travel around and near the capital on your own schedule. So why not leave the driving at home and use a local taxi service! If this service is needed, just let us know and we will assist you in finding a great taxi service.
If you are also interest intaking an ecotourism tour whilst on the island, this is a great day trip option.
Car Rental
Because of our central location in Roseau, Narakiel’s Inn allows for
easy access to many of the major attractions in Dominica (particularly those found on the south of the island).
As a result, many of our guests choose to visit such sites using a taxi service or local buses (these run regularly during the day on weekdays).
Although, not absolutely required to get around while in Dominica, if you would like to venture out on your own and easily access attractions around the island independently, a rental car would be a wonderful addition for your visit.
The roads in Dominica are generally a bit windy and the terrain rugged, so we would recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle to most easily navigate the roads. Driving is on the left side of the road in Dominica and you will need a temporary licence in order to drive during your trip.
